Annual budget 2021 is a vision document prepared for the Post Covid revived and boosted future of India, which touches lives of every Indian, said Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union MoS in PMO.

Dr. Jitendra Singh accompanied by J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, former Minister Priya Sethi and Chief Spokesperson Adv. Sunil Sethi was addressing a Press Conference at party headqurter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the Budget proposals for this financial year rests on six pillars — health and well-being, physical and financial capital and infrastructure, inclusive development for aspirational India, reinvigorating human capital, innovation and R&D, and 'Minimum Government, Maximum Governance'. He said that 137% increment has been given to the health budget. Such a big increment is for the first time in history which was long pending demand of health sector but was always ignored over other prioritized issues. Budget has cared for all the sections of society.

Dr. Jitendra said that in this budget stress is on Infrastructure, Highways & road construction, to strengthen all the previously ignored areas such as North-East and to develop them as the role model. He also recalled words that a country is made great by it great roads laying much importance of road and other connectivity. He said that in this budget the linking of Kashmir in modernization of Indian Railways, Gas pipeline for J&K and talked of the Central University allocation to Ladakh. He said that in this budget every sector is entertained with complete planning of Post Covid impact on the sector ensuring its revival and boost.

He said that the due emphasis has been laid on the youth, the “Start Up-Stand Up India” programme as well as the elderly population needs and their utilization in their prime expertise time. He said that extending of Ujjwala yojna for next one year will definitely increase in the beneficiaries list than previous year. Provision for increase in the defense sector, creating of employment opportunities for youth, budget has made provision for every needed factor.

By exporting Covid vaccine to other countries India has retained her ancient prestigious status of Vishwaguru. lndia came in front to curve the pandemic by making two vaccines for Covid. World has accepted India as its leader and now we should be ready enough to assume the responsibility, Dr. Singh stressed.

Answering a question on the farmer’s protest he said that the Modi government is open to talks on the farm bills removing any confusion that has crept in. He said that these farm laws have been formed to benefit the farmers and they can, in no way, do any harm to the farmers. He said this is Pro farmers budget and many provisions have been kept to benefit this sector in the budget. He added that the previous governments continuously stressed for the formulation of farm laws but now doing sheer politics.
